Acording to Yahoo! News a new $100 bill is in the works. Acording to this article, the new bill will be out late next year.
The operation of the new security thread looks like something straight out of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This magic, however, relies on innovations produced from decades of development.
It combines micro-printing with tiny lenses — 650,000 for a single $100 bill. The lenses magnify the micro-printing in a truly remarkable way.
Move the bill side to side and the image appears to move up and down. Move the bill up and down and the image appears to move from side to side.
Now, if I ever get to see one of these that will be awesome. lol. But seeing as how I don’t work with money much anymore, my chances are slim. :/
But they say they are also making changes to the $5 and small changes to the $10 and $20 too. The $1 they are going to keep the same because of vending machines and such.
Wow the new bill sounds cool! We recently had a change to our small coins but that was to resize it smaller to save the money because apparently, the five-cent coin cost more than five-cents to produce.

Where I live there’s a new type of 10$ bill, and it’s made of pure plastic, so you can’t rip it or something, it’s really smooth and shiny and colourful. Omgsh I don’t think I’m ever gonna use it. Why did they have to make money so attractive?
How’s homeschooling like? I’ve always wanted to try it but where I live the government doens’t allow it. So I have to go to schol and bear with all my retarded classmates (well, just some), the teachers and the frikkin lessons which make me sick. Arrgh.
Wow, that’s a pretty sophisticated design. According to the description it sounds to me like this investment, which I imagine has been very costly, will be worth it in the long-run. I guess we’ll see.
