Who Needs Sleep?

I’ve been so busy, yet it seems like I haven’t gotten anything done. It’s been like that all week. I had 3 meetings one day and still felt like I didn’t do anything.

I’m over at Tammie’s right now. I was working on getting my wedding invitations together, but I ran out of envelopes. We will have more on Monday.

I’ve decided that I seriously need to clean off my desk in my room. It’s driving me crazy working at the kitchen table and getting interrupted all the time. Today Ben was asking me something and I didn’t answer so he asked something else and I said “Yes, this is me ignoring you”. That made him pretty mad, but I had a whole page of stuff to get done for just one website. And there were 2 others that I had to work on too.

Lately things seem to be happening really fast, but in slow motion (if that makes sense). Kind of like the night before a day that you have been really looking forward to and you can’t sleep because you are so excited, so time goes way too slow. I don’t know if that really explains it either. I don’t know how to explain it. :/

Speaking of not sleeping… I have been going to bed around 1am for the past few nights. I’m not really complaining though. I still get up at a decent hour (mainly because Cory calls or texts me every morning) and I’m not sleepy during the day. I must look or sound sleepy though, Moma asked me if I was feeling bad today. Eh. :/ I won’t worry about it right now. I’m able to get more stuff done if I sleep less. I think I’m still getting the recommended 7 hours of sleep. So once I’m getting less than that, then I will start to worry about it. :P

I get what you mean about the time issue. You wait and wait for an event and time just drags until you get to it.. Then you’re like “where did the time go?!”

Yay, wedding invites! I actually sent mine out a little late lol Do you have a picture of the design you went with?

1 A.M. isn’t that bad. I’ve been turning in at 5 A.M. every night (morning?) for about two or three weeks now and I can’t seem to adjust my body clock back to normal no matter how hard I try. :( Unlike you, however - I wake up at an even more ungodly hour in the afternoon; 3 P.M!

Uh, oops. I think I sound like a complete pig by now! :P

Time is… time. I feel it going by so quickly lately, it’s annoying because I’ve got lots to do!

I think I rarely stay up until 1am! It’s usually around midnight.. or 11pm lately because I’m feeling so tired these days :S

I have quite a jumbled body clock myself. I go to bed at random times, and wake up late in the afternoon when I have off. However, when I work, I have to wake up at 9am. Screws me up alot. lol.

1 AM isn’t that bad! I usually go to sleep around 3…even when I have to be up and getting ready around 6. Luckily, I don’t have to get up that early all the time…just twice a week — so it doesn’t effect me too much. But I know what you mean…when you’re anticipating something, you can fully function on little sleep for some reason. Good luck finishing off those invitations!

Wow, good luck getting everything done. I know you’ll be glad when things slow down (or speed up, lol).

One in the morning isn’t too bad. I’ve been on a similar nightowl schedule, but I havem’t been going to bed until 3am or later. It’s nearly impossible for me to get my body to revert back to a normal schedule. ARG. It’s really frustrating. *lol*

1 p.m. isn’t really that late, lol. and wedding invitations! so exciting!

Well, it’s summer vacation for me (working in an elementary school), but I still go to bed by 10:30 every night because my husband (being a college librarian) does not get summers off. :P So, I get woken up early every morning, but usually go back to sleep for a couple of hours. I think my body isn’t appreciating the extra sleep. I think I am sleeping too much. :P I am so not a morning person at all though.

Good luck with your wedding! I can’t believe my wedding was almost 2 years ago (June 18th). Time sure does fly!

I’ve been feeling like that too. Really busy, but in the end I’m like ‘what have I actually accomplished today?’ It’s a weird feeling. :???:

I understand what you mean about time. If I have plans after work that I’m looking forward too, I feel like time is moving so slow.

I go to sleep around 1am as well. As long as you don’t feel tired during the day it’s okay, I think. ;) x
