Jobs
I’m really wishing Cory and I had our own place right now. :/ Because if we did then we wouldn’t be arguing about the freaking dishes and who should wash them. Yeah, it’s only two right now. But I don’t want to have to go upstairs to do them and hope that there aren’t any other dishes in the sink. And by the time I actually get our dishes up there the food will be stuck on like freakin crazy glue. Every-now-and-then I’m lucky enough to find a way to get him to at least clean up all the mountain dew cans. None of that would really bother me if it wasn’t all jammed into two little rooms.
Anyways, enough of that.
Cory got a job Friday. He starts tomorrow. It pays good and its a steady pay. Which is what we really need right now. It will take us a little while to get caught up on things, but eventually we will be able to start saving some money so we can get our own place. That is all I really want right now. I have many things on my ‘want’ list, but Cory and I having our own place is at the very top of the list in big bold letters.
I think I should actually make an ‘I Want’ list.
Slowly I should get all of it. haha.
O, and I titled this Jobs because I was thinking about all the little Handyman jobs Cory has been getting. He put an ad in the paper for a handyman and has gotten quite a few calls about it. The good thing about his new job is that his hours are from 4pm to 12am so he still has all day to do other stuff if he wants. Like Monday he is going to replace a bathroom floor for a lady then go to work. I don’t think he will be taking too many big jobs now though, just the small stuff.
Anyways, I think I’m going to go work on a layout. I’ve been thinking of a few different ideas.

It sounds as though lots of money will be coming his way and hopefully you can buy your own house soon. I can imagine it being very useful having a handyman as a partner, my boyfriend is useless when it comes to “man jobs”, he can fix my computer and that is about it.
If food is glued to the plate, just put them in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes and it should soften and come off.

I want what Cory has–a job.
But that’s great that he found one. Hopefully you guys will find a place of your own very soon.

That’s great that Cory has a job! My dad has been looking for work for ages…. Sigh.
In response to your comment:
Grass is nice and we do have some, thankfully.
