Well, today Malakhi and I went with Cory to pick up a load in the big truck. So today was his first time riding in an 18 wheeler! He slept most of the time. The vibration from the truck just puts him right to sleep, and he slept really well. I wish he would sleep that well at night! haha. He was awake for a little while. He was lookin around and just taking in everything. 
It was great.
Malakhi is also a month old today! On Thanksgiving we weighed me then me holding him and he is about 9 1/2 lb now. I can tell he is getting bigger. Ofcorse when I noticed it it seemed to me like it was just over night that he grew.
So how was your Thanksgiving? Ours was pretty good. We had lunch at my grandparents house. They fried the turkey and it was soo good! My grandma put some kind of spicy rub on it that added good flavor, but I didn’t really eat the skin. Cory said it was hot, so I just took his word for it. Afterwords we got Jeremiah then went to Cory’s Mom’s for dinner. She hadn’t gotten to see Malakhi yet. She drives an 18 wheeler also, but she is gone for a lot longer. It was nice getting to spend time with family. Though I hate some comments that people tend to make about babies. I never realized before I had my own how annoying it is! The one I hate the most is when someone says “stop pinching that baby!” when he is crying. Every time he cries when other people are around I have to hear that. My grandmother does it the most.
Another thing I’ve come to find annoying…children wanting to sit and stair at me while I try to feed Malakhi. I guess it’s just because it’s something different, but I hate it.
Sounds like a possible “road trip” in the big rig when Malakhi is cranky and won’t go to sleep! HA! We fried a turkey for the 1st time last year and it was yummy. It also had a “cajun rub” on it that gave it great flavor. It seems that by the time it’s sliced up, not much of the spice is there to make it too hot but maybe you really hate spice? I thought I was following a link from your twitter to a pic of Malakhi in the truck! Do you have a cell phone and if so, do you have the package with pics? if so, don’t forget you can always snap something cute with that (and yes, I know they are not the greatest shots but still would be cute to see his 1st truck ride!!) Keep being a good momma and “stop pinching that baby!” LOL
The baby probably did grow over night lol. My nephew is growing pretty quickly too. I’ve never heard anyone say “stop pinching the baby” before. What does that even mean? I can’t think of any sayings that people say towards babies. What else do people say?

I tried to blog everyday in the month once as well, but I usually end up missing a day towards the end which is silly. Really annoying too.
Oh, wow!! I was reading the start of your post thinking “Who is this Malakhi”, then realised he’s your son!! Congratulations!! Sorry, for the overload of exclamation marks, it’s just I’m shocked you had him 1 month ago. I really have missed a lot with not blogging/being inactive.
The ride in the truck sounds like fun. Aww, so cute.
Okay, so I’m on revamp/hiatus at the moment, but I’ll be back on 1st January and I’ll keep up with your blog until then.

It’s good to hear that Malakhi is doing so well and growing so fast! It’s a good thing that you know at least one trick to put him to sleep haha that might come in handy every once in a while
