Broken Glass

Sense we have been in this house we have broken 4 glasses. 3 of them are more recent.

Last night I was doing the dishes when hubby got home. He decided to come up behind me, reach around me, stick his hand under the running water, and threw it on me! So I then attempted to throw water on him…didn’t work out well for me. He grabbed one of the glasses still in the sink, threw a full glass of water on me, filled it again and was trying to do it again when I pushed his hand…and the glass fell. It went everywhere. It was so funny though! Cory swept up the glass, I stood there because I didn’t have shoes on and didn’t want to step on it. I thought it was all over.. I was talkin to him and followed him to the bathroom. The tub was full of water (because of this toy snake thing my step-son got for Christmas), so he thought he should put me in there, clothes and all! So fun! I miss the fun, stupid stuff like that.

So that’s one, my brother broke one, I dropped one while washing it and it broke, and Cory tipped one over in the living room and it broke. I think we need plastic!!

Well, this year is almost over. It’s been a pretty good year. Yes, there is plenty I could complain about. But I managed to get pregnant again after my miscarriage last December, had my son on my birthday, pregnancy wasn’t too bad, delivery wasn’t bad as far as deliveries go. Those are the major good things this year. I plan on having a good time on new years eve despite recent events. My mom is going to watch Malakhi for me and I’m going to a friends house to drink. It will be the first time I’ll be away from him for a night. So far the longest has been four or five hours.

Sorry for the protected posts lately. There’s just some things I need to write down that I don’t want certian people to know about. There will probably be more, y’all are welcome to just comment on the previous post or even email asking for the password. It’s people that I know offline that I’m wanting to keep those from. Not many of my offline friends know about this site, but there are a few and right now I’d rather them not know.

Anyways… Malakhi is growing so much! I swear he is gaining weight every day. He is sleeping in the floor right now and I keep seeing his little foot twitch out the corner of my eye.

I need to make a new layout…maybe something for Malakhi…

First Truck Ride

Well, today Malakhi and I went with Cory to pick up a load in the big truck. So today was his first time riding in an 18 wheeler! He slept most of the time. The vibration from the truck just puts him right to sleep, and he slept really well. I wish he would sleep that well at night! haha. He was awake for a little while. He was lookin around and just taking in everything. It was great.

Malakhi is also a month old today! On Thanksgiving we weighed me then me holding him and he is about 9 1/2 lb now. I can tell he is getting bigger. Ofcorse when I noticed it it seemed to me like it was just over night that he grew.

So how was your Thanksgiving? Ours was pretty good. We had lunch at my grandparents house. They fried the turkey and it was soo good! My grandma put some kind of spicy rub on it that added good flavor, but I didn’t really eat the skin. Cory said it was hot, so I just took his word for it. Afterwords we got Jeremiah then went to Cory’s Mom’s for dinner. She hadn’t gotten to see Malakhi yet. She drives an 18 wheeler also, but she is gone for a lot longer. It was nice getting to spend time with family. Though I hate some comments that people tend to make about babies. I never realized before I had my own how annoying it is! The one I hate the most is when someone says “stop pinching that baby!” when he is crying. Every time he cries when other people are around I have to hear that. My grandmother does it the most.

Another thing I’ve come to find annoying…children wanting to sit and stair at me while I try to feed Malakhi. I guess it’s just because it’s something different, but I hate it.

One Handed

My newest most amazing skill? Typing one handed. lol! Most of the time that I’m on the computer now I only have on hand to use. The other one is preoccupied with the baby. Usually feeding him. I’m starting to get pretty good at it! I’m even able to capitalize without much trouble.

Anyways, Malakhi is doing very well. As of last Friday he weighed 8lb 5oz. Two weeks ago I had to go get my WIC updated. Well they also had to check baby to make sure he is healthy. When they weighed him he was still one ounce under his birth weight. I still don’t think it was that big of a deal, but they freaked out about it. I was upset about it then (still am a little) but no reason to rant about it now. He eats when he is hungry and he isn’t fussy all the time, so I see no need to worry about it.

Up until last night, sleeping has been fine. Feeding him every 3 hours isn’t so bad, though, every hour like it was last night isn’t quite so easy. I’m guessing it’s just a little growth spurt making him want to eat more. I just hope that it only lasts one night.
